Embodying the luxurious beauty of great Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, this alluring wine draws you in with complex aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, blackberry, and sweet baking spices. On the palate, the tannins are supple and round, framing juicy layers of dark berries and chocolate, with sophisticated hints of white pepper and toasty oak emerging throughout the long, resonant finish.
Blend: 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot
Cassis, brambles and violets followed by graphite, cigar box and tobacco leaves with blanched nuts and cedar. Full-bodied with crisp acidity and firm yet finely grained tannins. Wonderful concentration and focus. Precisely framed wine with depth and length. Aged for 14 months in 40% new French oak. A blend of 98% cabernet sauvignon and 2% merlot.
