Contour Description
Contour Cabernet is a pure and genuine expression of California Cabernet, without the use of additional varietals. For the inaugural release of Contour Cabernet, we have selected the best fruit grown in the North Coast, providing tremendous depth, balance and quality. Nestled between the Vaca and Howell Mountains, the sunny and warm climate of California’s rustic Suisun Valley – on the Southeast side of Napa Valley, is perfect for slow-ripening Cabernet. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was hand-picked in the early morning during mid-October, then sorted, destemmed, and crushed in closed-top tanks for fermentation at 80 degrees for optimal fruit extraction.
